Thanks to the Internet, now you don’t need to get the help of anyone to find answers to your questions.
Be it a new gadget, movie or pop album, you can read the reviews about them as soon as it goes live. That’s why Google is sometimes referred to as “God” because it can provide answers about everything 🙂
Do you think that Google is the only search engine available in the world? No.
It is just an illusion created by Google.
Besides Google, there are 13 popular search engines ( Bing, Yandex, Yahoo etc) which are widely used by millions of people all over the world. (Source: Wikipedia).
And, some of the search engines like Bing and Yahoo rewards their users for making use of their platforms to search the web.
In our bing rewards review, let’s find out how you can earn money for searching your queries on the Bing search engine.
Bing Rewards Review: How To Earn Microsoft Rewards Points?
Microsoft Bing rewards is not a quick rich scheme. However, you can easily earn some dollars every month without putting a lot of efforts. Unlike the online survey sites, you will not be kicked out in the middle and you will always get paid for your time & effort even if it is small.
Especially for those who own Xbox, Microsoft rewards will help them to save some money or to get deals and discounts for their orders.
What is Bing Rewards?
Even though the Bing search engine was launched in 2009, it was not able to gain popularity by overriding the giant Google. So, Microsoft launched the ‘Bing Rewards’ ( also called Microsoft Rewards ) program to increase its share in the US market.
Basically, Microsoft Rewards will reward the users with points for every search that is made using Bing. Not only for doing searches, but you can also earn some points for using the Microsoft Edge browser.
Once the accumulated points reach the specified limit, you can redeem that for a variety of gift cards like Amazon, Walmart and more. Based on the data from Statista, 33% of the users in the US have used Bing to search their queries in 2017. It seems that the Bing rewards initiative is working well 🙂
I got paid from Microsoft Rewards more than three times so far. I have not shopped anything from the Microsoft store to get the points. But, I was able to reach the minimum payout only by doing searches and answering quizzes. It hardly takes less than 5 minutes to reach 250 points every day. And, I used to log on to Bing while watching my favorite TV show so that I will not miss collecting the points for the day :-).

4. Making money – How To Collect More Microsoft Rewards Points?
You cannot make a lot of money from Bing Rewards. However, you can easily make $5-$10 per month for spending a few minutes with Bing every day.
Here is the list of options that you can use to accumulate Microsoft Reward points
4.1 Search
There are two types levels in the Bing Rewards. By default, you will be in Level 1 status and you can move to Level 2 once your total Microsoft Reward points reach 500. To maintain the Level 2 status, you need to collect 500 points every month. Here is the summary of the two levels.
Level 1
Get 5 points for every search on Bing. However, you cannot accumulate more than 50 points per day.
Level 2
For every search on Bing, you will get 5 points and the maximum number of points per day is 250. Plus, you will get a 10% discount while you do shopping on the Microsoft store.
The simplest option will be to make Bing as your default search engine so that you will reach the maximum points per day. If you don’t like that option, then follow the below approach.
- Search your desired keyword on Bing. Don’t click on any the results.
- Generally, for any given keyword, you will find at least 8 to 10 related keywords.
Keep clicking on the related keywords one by one till your points reach the maximum for the day (250 ).
So, you don’t need to break your head in finding more keywords and can easily get the maximum reward points within a couple of minutes.
4.2 Shopping
Besides search, you will also get points whenever you purchase something at Xbox/Windows store.
For every $1 spent, you will get 1 point.
Plus, you will get discounts and offers from Microsoft store.
4.3. Browsing
You will easily get a few points for browsing with Microsoft Edge. Keeping Edge as your default browser will help to earn points quickly.
4.4 Quiz
Make sure you check out the Microsoft Rewards page every day. Because you will see something like Supersonic Quiz, Daily Poll, and more options. You can easily get 30 to 50 points easily for taking the quiz. The next question will be shown only after you give the correct answer to the previous question. So, you don’t need to know the answer to completing the quiz 🙂
