Have you ever heard about the product testing jobs at home?
I would like to share my first experience as a product tester. It was interesting because I did not believe that I will get the payment :-).
A few years ago, I got a survey from Clixsense which said that I will receive $10 for giving feedback about a baby diaper. And they will be sending samples @ free of cost to me. I accepted the survey without hesitation as I thought I can try those diapers on my baby.
After a week, I received the samples along with a feedback form. The form has many fields like Date, Time etc so that I can record the diaper changes. I recorded those data and sent the scanned copy of the form after 2 weeks.
To my surprise, I received the payment within a week after sending the feedback form. 🙂
Sounds very simple and interesting. Right?
Yes. I really liked this small job and started looking for similar product tester jobs which will help me to make money from home.
How To Become A Product Tester And Get Paid To Test Products At Home?
Let me tell you an example. If you are a member of the Costco Wholesale Club, you might have observed the small food stalls at various corners of the shop. They will be inviting people to try out the samples of products like juices, sauces etc.
Besides promoting their products, they are also trying to get a quick feedback from the users about their samples. That’s why they offer free product samples to the users.
Likewise, when you receive the product samples @ your home and provide feedback on the same, then it becomes a product testing job.
So, you don’t need any prior testing experience to become a product tester. Because the companies are more interested to know about the user experience of the product. The only thing is you should be willing to share your residential address and contact information with the companies so that they can send the samples to you.
What Kind of Product Testing Jobs Are Available To You?
It doesn’t matter whether you are a teen, working woman, stay at home mom or an old woman. All of us would like to use lipsticks, eyeshadows, liners, skin care lotions, and more on a daily or regular basis.
How will you feel if someone sends free samples of the above-mentioned beauty products to you? You would love to try them and provide their feedback. Right?

How Much Can A Product Tester Make Per Hour?
It depends on a number of factors like working hours, company, product and also the extent to which you are testing the product. For example, a cosmetics product tester cannot expect the same pay like a game tester. Because a game tester needs to spend more time in breaking the software to catch bugs whereas the requirements to test a beauty product is pretty simple. You can work either as a part-time or full-time product tester.
The average salary of a work from home product tester in the US is approximately $58,000 per year. (Source: Indeed )
