Google Fi is a telecommunications service (like AT & T, T-mobile) owned by Google. Like you traditional mobile carriers, it also provides calls, SMS and data. However, the unique feature of Google Fi is that automatically switches between networks based on signal strength to provide an uninterrupted signal for users. Plus, it can automatically connect to nearby Wi-Fi hotspots.
